5.1 Bridge Programs 

At Presidio ECH, students are asked to attend Summer Bridge, which typically takes place during the last week of summer. This program is designed for students to explore various career paths, higher education institutions that offer those paths, and financial research. The Summer Bridge program is organized in collaboration with Odessa College.

5.2 Advising  

Presidio Early College High School conducts advising sessions on campus, with a certified Higher Education Academic Advisor available to assist students with course registration and advising.

Advising occurs once during the fall semester and twice during the spring semester, during which students discuss the possibility of taking summer courses.

Parents and students are welcome and encouraged to meet with the academic advisor as frequently as desired.

5.3 Student Intervention

Tutorial Schedule

Monday through Friday: During the Advising period and After School.

Students can make arrangements where they can receive additional support if needed.

Students are also encouraged to schedule tutoring sessions with Odessa College tutors after school hours, depending on availability.

5.4 Classroom Supports

Classroom Supports: Study Skills Curriculum Material and Courses

TSI Assessment: Reading and Writing is a student guide provided to all ECHS students upon TSI tutorials. It includes TSI Reading and Writing strategies, practice questions, and practice assessments.

TSI Assessment: Math is a student guide provided to all ECHS students upon TSI tutorials. It includes TSI Math strategies, practice questions, and practice assessments.

PSAT, ACT, SAT Prep:  is done throughout the year in advising periods to help students get extra practice, and assessments before the tests are taken. Online programs include programs such as Edgenuity, and Khan Academy.  Written works include Kaplan premier books, and teacher made worksheets.
